My father Oscar Nemon

Lady (Aurelia) Young will give a lecture at Penton Village Hall in aid of Hall and Church, on her father the renowned sculptor Oscar Nemon whose works include statues of the queen, Sir Winston Churchill, Baroness Thatcher and Sigmund Freud. It has been 12 years since she launched the first lecture at this very Hall, and much new material has been gathered in the meantime. Lord Young of Cookham will be accompanying her, and there is an opportunity to buy “Finding Nemon”, his newly-published biography; an ideal Christmas present, perhaps?  Tickets can be reserved by phoning 01264 773221 or clicking here; first 20 tickets are £8, the rest are £10.
