Join us for an evening of clues, secrets and red herrings as actors lead you through a murder mystery set at the height of the fete. Form a table of six or join fellow sleuths on the night. Dress in gaudy village‑fete style and bring your own picnic; drinks from the hall bar only, please. The ticket price includes a glass of Pimms or fizz on arrival.

In the sleepy village of Littlehampton, everybody knows everyone else’s business. When Mary Smallpiece announces that she is about to stage a village fete to raise money for the church roof fund, her husband, the Reverend Humphrey Smallpiece agrees somewhat reluctantly to abseil down the church tower and seeks sponsorship. Retired GP Dr Harriet Ffinch and her trusty sidekick, local police sergeant Derek Foot ensure that the whole event runs with military precision, aided by Staff Sergeant Marsh of the local army cadets. But it seems that the village has some secrets to unfold and that quite a few villagers would love to see Humphrey at the end of a rope…

Actors will weave a tale of mystery, dropping tantalizing clues as the drama unfolds around you.  Gather your wits to find the killer. There are prizes to be won.  Bring your own food hamper.
